“Brilliant, could not have asked for better. This was an ideal location – not in town but not far out of town. The accommodation was excellent, and Kathy, our host was an absolute star. We could not have asked for better. The garden is understated… fruit and flowers to die for! Clean, cool, lots of towels and a lovely porch to sit out in. Everything you need, really. Fabulous Host

“Kathleen is a fabulous host! It was very easy to communicate with her, and she was very flexible (we had some last-minute surprises with our Liat flights..!). She is a great ambassador for Dominica 🙂 We booked a guide through her for the Boiling lake, and we had a great time. The house is located in a very calm area on top of the mountains. A car is essential (the drive up there is spectacular!). We were a group of 3 friends travelling mostly for diving, and we had everything we needed. “We had a lovely stay at Bluemoon. It is ideally located near the road but is quiet (a mountain road to get there!). Kathy is a really welcoming and helpful person! We had a timing problem with our hire car, and Kathy spontaneously found us at the ferry terminal, worrying not to see us at the Studio. She accompanied us for several hours in our efforts until we got home with our 2-year-old son. I highly recommend this accommodation, ideal for families or group of friends!! Hikers

“Superb stay in Morne Prosper at this very private studio. We loved eating the avocados from the garden. The home is very well located for the Waitikubuli Hiking Trail which is just up the road. Hikes to the Wotten Waven hot water springs and to the splendid Trafalgar Falls are about 1 hour. Also, a loop hike from Morne Prosper to the Boiling Lake and returning via Trafalgar Falls and the Wotten Waven hot springs is about 10 hours. There are regular taxis or buses to Roseau. Peace and Tranquility

“I chose Kathy’s place for a private weekend getaway. What I needed was peace and tranquility, and I am pleased to say that my stay at this property gave me all that and then some. I arrived on island early and left late, and Kathy kindly accommodated me with an early check-in and late check-out. The studio was as pictured, but the surrounding grounds were the added bonus not described in the photos. I was lucky enough to be there while all her avocado trees were laden, and I enjoyed the delicious fruit (practically with every meal). “I absolutely recommend Kathy and her BEAUTIFUL studio, very well placed for hiking and discover this MAGNIFICENT island, which is so natural, we fully enjoyed the views!
